Our cremations are private. This means your pet is the only one in the crematorium while it is being cremated. When they come into my care, if I pick up I carry them to my vehicle and take them for their last country ride, after which or if you drop off they are placed on a blanketed table where I will do pawprints, take fur clippings , remove collars if required and do paperwork. I then carry them to the crematorium, telling them they are so loved and such good babies and place them in the crematorium. The door is closed and the crematorium is started. Once cremation is complete I gather the remains and process them into ashes and place in a bag. Keepsakes are made if required and then the bag is tied and placed in a scatterbag or urn and is ready to go home to their loved ones.
We know there are many questions and misunderstandings about the cremation process . We want you to understand the process and the types of cremation so that you can make an informed decision on your pet's final arrangements. If your pet passes at home you need only call the crematorium of your choice and they can come pick up your precious pet or you can take your pet to the crematorium. If your pet is euthanized at your vet clinic you can choice the crematorium they deal with or the crematorium of your choose. You can call your choice of crematorium to arrange pick up or you as owner can take your pet home to be picked up or you can drop your pet off at the crematorium.
